Finca Las Morenitas is one of seven estates that reach across Jinotega and Matagalpa of which both are places I have had the good fortune to visit on multiple occasions whilst on the coffee trail. The farms are owned by Victor Robello, originally bought in the late nineties after cessation of action by the Contra's. The farms were planted with his father's favourite varietals, Yellow Catuai and Caturra, and are purely focused on producing quality lots with new state of the art processing methods. I have a great weakness for good artisan honey and this coffee tastes like nectar!
