We wanted to create a versatile blend that would work as well for a commuter and also to enjoy as a leisurely cup with friends. We visited Nicaragua and were struck by the beauty and location of the plantation. The people were so friendly and realising we could bring the whole harvest home, we decided these golden nuggets of coffee would be instrumental for our new house blend. The estate is at an altitude of 3600 ft in the hills around Matagalpa. The bushes enjoy generous shading from Walnut and Banana trees and the flavour is enhanced by the Mandarin and Cacao also grown within the estate.
A good well balance espresso and difficult to beat when making with milk.
